CertifiedEmail™ is used by commercial, non-profit and government agencies that send volume email to individuals that opt-in to receive email communications from them. There is no cost to consumers to receive a CertifiedEmail message.

Who Qualifies to Send CertifiedEmail?

CertifiedEmail’s purpose is to assure consumers that an email message is from an entity they have an existing relationship with and that message is from a trusted source. Free for consumers, Senders who chose to send CertifiedEmail must meet a strict set of criteria defined by leading ISP’s and legal regulations and managed by Goodmail.

What does it take to qualify to send CertifiedEmail?

  1. Senders must adhere to best practices, such as providing a transparent mechanism for consumers to opt-in or opt-out of email subscription lists.
  2. Senders complaint rates must be among the lowest in the industry, as verified by the records of consumer reports obtained from partner ISPs and mailbox providers.
  3. Senders must use CertifiedEmail only in communications where a prior customer relationship exists or where customers have opted in to communications. No unsolicited email can be sent via CertifiedEmail.
